Hi, I’m Heather Waxman. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Certified Somatic Exercises Instructor, and Certified EFT Practitioner with over 13 years of experience supporting people in healing and growth.
I practice holistic, somatic psychotherapy that integrates clinical training in Marriage & Family Therapy with nervous system regulation, relational healing, and earth-based spirituality. My work honors the whole person—body, psyche, soul, and relational world—and is grounded in the understanding that we are cyclical beings shaped by the same rhythms of growth, rest, and renewal found in Nature.
I work with clients weekly or bi-weekly in Connecticut and New York (both in person and online), supporting clients to make steady, sustainable changes over time.
Symptoms such as anxiety, chronic stress, or over-responsibility are not treated as problems to fix, but as meaningful signals—adaptations that once helped and are now ready to be released and reimagined. With care and steadiness, I support clients in releasing outdated patterns and cultivating a deeper felt sense of inner safety, self-trust, and embodied resilience.
