I have somethin' for ya in podcast form today ... a soul riff on practicing acceptance.
At first glance, I think our resistance calls the practice of acceptance boring. It can warrant an eye roll or two, yeah? ;)
Sometimes. Yes. No. All of the above. (Wherever you are in there, it's perfect)
In essence, acceptance is the foundation of transformation. It is the soil from which transformation can occur.
We say things in passing like, "Self-acceptance is so important" or "I want to accept myself" or
"I want to accept this situation for what it is" .... but what do we mean when we say that?
What does this word mean to you?
What does acceptance mean to you as a practice?
What does it mean to practice acceptance?
Let's explore together.
