Drop the drama, do your dharma.
Last week, I was on the phone with one of my besties, Simran. You know her because I talk about her often in this little corner of the Interwebs (you may recall her most recent podcast The Progressive Starseed?). We had the most healing conversation.
You know when you connect with people who understand you on a Soul level? Who truly get you and hold you to your Highest? We all only have a few people who understand us on that deep, deep level that transcends this physical realm. And Sim is one of those people for me.
In that conversation, while Sim was talking, I received a download from Yogi Bhajan through me that was so beautiful.
The download was, "Drop the drama. Do your dharma."
I feel moved to share this with you today because I feel a lot of us need this message.
There is a lot of drama here on social media. That is intentional and purposeful. People are banking on manipulating your most precious asset - your attention - so that you aren't awakened to who you are and the Divine work you're here to do.
What that download reminded me of is how I, too, am prone to getting swept up in the current of the latest sweeping Instagram trend, the most recent uproar, etc. when I'm not in-alignment and when I'm not in my power.
So, a reminder for myself, for you, and for all of us:
Get in your power.
Drop the drama.
Do your dharma.
The drama is a distraction.
